克勞迪亞．納爾遜（Claudia Nelson）為德州農工大學英語系名譽教授（Professor Eemerita of English at Texas A&M University），也是美國兒童文學學會（Children’s Literature Association）的前會長。她著有六本學術專書，最近的一本是與安妮．莫瑞（Anne Morey）共同編著的《兒童文學中的古典世界拓撲：重寫本、地圖與分形》（Topologies of the Classical World in Children’s Literature: Palimpsests, Maps, and Fractals；牛津大學出版社，2019年）；她的著作《小陌生人：1850-1929年美國的收養描繪》（Little Strangers: Portrayals of Adoption in America, 1850-1929；印第安納大學出版社，2003年）獲得美國兒童文學學會學術專書獎。她編輯七本合集，其中與Elisabeth Wesseling和Andrea Mei-Ying Wu合編The Routledge Companion to Children’s Literature and Culture（羅特里奇出版社，2023年）。她曾是《新黃金時代美國兒童小說》（American Children’s Fiction of the New Golden Age）系列書籍的美國編輯顧問（明日出版社，山東濟南，2012-2018年），並且是由中國海洋大學支助的國際兒童文學研討會（the International Children’s Literature Symposium）的共同創辦人；她的部分作品已有中文譯本或正進行翻譯中。
